Do you think that Migration is a bad thing?

Lucas Salgado

Do you think that Migration is a bad thing?

Migration in some cases is a good thing in others bad, but everything will depend on the perspective with which it is seen, so today we will see the two faces it has, especially when a person goes from the city to a rural area. Migration has always been present in the history of the human being, since its inception that they moved for better living conditions, and today it is for the same reasons and there are also other factors that usually appear. Migration is when a person or people move from one place to another for a reason. Being clear about this, it is important to mention that nowadays people migrate due to the globalization that has been generated and the environment that it has formed.

The positive thing about migration is that it is usually to seek better living conditions, for example when people from a developing country migrate to a developed country, this is because of the opportunities that exist in that country. Another example is when people migrate due to the insecurity that exists in the country, that is, when a country is at war, there are armed groups, etc. In these cases, it is an emergency. In this way we can find many cases, but in most they are these reasons or related.

The negative part of migration is not reflected much in the people who do it, but in the country they leave, because the people who are looking for new opportunities and are with that determination are people who seek to improve themselves for what those people They are necessary in developing countries to improve their quality of life. So each time the country remains the same, and it cannot improve so that it improves. That on the one hand, apart from the fact that each person in a country contributes to the nation, that is, it represents the labor force, and the further it is, the more income is for the countries. Another thing, which is seen a lot and is reflected in people is that in some countries they are racist with foreigners, as has been seen the reactions that there are when Latinos travel to Spain, of course not all of them do it, but they have given cases. All because of its origin, and its image.

People who go from the city to a rural area, have positive and negative things. The positives are that in the rural area there is less noise pollution, climate so it is an environment with greater peace. Something negative is that in rural areas due to its location, there is no variety of products so it is scarcer, apart from health, for the same reason it will be below that found in the city. In other words, all these are opinions, so as I mentioned in the beginning it is a matter of perspective. So it could vary depending on the people who say it.

The migration is a advantage or disadvantage?

In the current time everything progressed and has improved a lot but still remains in migration and other problems It is important to know that people always need or require to have a better standard of living that is the reason that so many people have migrated to cities or urbanization areas which have helped a lot to people who would like to have a better quality of life migration is a problem as social political or different things is a way to try to improve your life by changing the country in which you reside in this blog I will explain you the advantages and disadvantages of migration. would like to have a better quality of life migration is a problem as social political or different things is a way to try to improve your life changing the country where you reside in this blog I will explain the advantages and disadvantages of migrating to the city and if it could be an advantage or a disadvantage to migrate to a city.

One of the disadvantages that I find of the migration from the countryside to the city is that consequently the people who migrate to a city are foreigners or from the countryside and this has caused a greater number of inhabitants which in the city has become very recurrent to have an over population and also in the city as in the countryside there are not many cars there are not many factories so they maintain a healthier life. I think the most fundamental disadvantage is the cost of housing and the quality of life is more expensive on a farm or in the countryside a liter of milk could be around 40 to 60 cents while in the city you can find 80 or $1 and this generates a higher cost in food or housing itself.

Well I consider that migrating from the country to the city has good things how bad things but everything is in decisions people want to improve their quality of life or for different reasons what people minimum to cities which have different things which make them have a better quality of life.

Migration, Good or Bad?

When your decide change your style of life, we talk about the migration and if we start to understand what carries that big problem, Migration is the biggest social problem in the world since leaving the life you have out of necessity is not easy, and I can assure you of this.

Hello my name is Cristopher, I am from Texas but at the moment that write this blog , I live Los Angles, and gonna tell you my experience with the migration, First, if you need to, you want to migrate to another city, take into account if it is necessary since before migrating you have to know that this is not easy, since you will leave all the life you have made to go elsewhere to do it again from scratch, like this which is a decision that you have to take into account if you want to migrate

Another very important issue to think about is what you are going to do when you are already in the country or city that you are going to migrate, since this is also important because worldwide it is difficult to find work, but if you manage to get a job, we would go to Second point is to adapt to the culture since in the same country there are several cultures or ways of seeing life, and if we do not adapt to those cultures we will have several problems in society

As a conclusion we would have that if at any time you want to migrate either nationally or internationally you would have to think twice since doing this is not an easy thing, and we can realize that if we start to investigate, we can see that there are people who start from Their birthplace to another country or city and only 2 of 10 people arrive in the country who wanted to migrate, and also everything they have to go through is not easy, since they even have to endure mistreatment, and this is not easy. , so if you want to migrate you must already have a plan of how your life is going to continue in another city or country

Migration is a change for better, right?

Migration from a rural area to urban ones is a good change, right? This question is subjective and can have some answers, based on my story, I can say that everything depends of how you face it.

So, when a was a Kid, we used to live in rural areas, I was at the age of 4-5 years, and I pretty much don’t remember a thing of were I used to live, my parents weren’t a wealthy couple in any way, and I was the oldest of two kids. We weren’t having much trouble with the family income and we used to live a happy life. But, one day, the government put new taxes on farmers.

This was a big hit to my family due to that dad was a farmer and the main source of income. My family couldn’t afford to live there anymore as farmers, after a extended discussion, my family agreed to move from the farm to the closer city nearby.

The next day we packaged our stuff and we instantly left. The plan was to stay a few days with our uncle that was already living there and try finding a low-income job that doesn´t require much experience our education.

The very first day was a hell on the earth, food and other resources were very expensive, there were new things I´ve never saw, but we couldn´t afford them anyway. Days passed and we found other problems than the scarce of money, we found ourselves living in a shanty part of the city, were street crime and gangs were something common. We worried fort our security, but we couldn’t do anything, we had to live like this some more weeks.

Until mom found a job in a restaurant closer to some apartment’s buildings, pretty cheap apartments closer to the center of the city, that seemed like a dreamed situation back then, but some days passed before in backfired, one day I fell very sick, so my parents took me to a health center, very cool that it was partially free health care, the doctors found that it was due the pollution of the air that I wasn´t used to live. I stayed in the health center a few days before recover.

Then everything went better for us, my father got another job at a park, better than the last one, and we kept upgrading our ways of living. As a conclusion we could say that people who migrant to rural areas to urban ones are likely to face a lot of problems, related with security, social pressure, higher costs of living and even health. But everything could be worth once you get used to live with it and keep upgrading your living conditions.

A home away from home

What's up internet people welcome to my blog today I am going to tell you my experience as an immigrant but before we start with this we will talk a little about the feeling of the immigrant people and we will talk about some countries that suffer from many cases of immigration and I hope this blog will be of your interest and it can help many people.

over the years, the way of seeing immigrants has changed. Before, they were seen as just another person, but as the immigrant population grows and grows, the native people begin to see them as an annoying parasite that only seeks to take their jobs, food, education, etc., away from them.

many people do not know how hard it is to be an immigrant and have to go through horrible things that make them leave their home to seek a better life elsewhere, even these people have to live horrible things during their journey because not many people have the resources to afford a plane flight or in other cases if they have the resources but not enough documents to live in another country so they have to travel as illegal immigrants.

The experience of immigration is a very strong experience that some people who seek a better life in another place have to experience because they are forced to leave their home because of war, terrorism, economic and resource issues, there are many countries like Venezuela that suffer a lot of migration because its economy is not stable and people can not eat because Venezuela suffers from a dictatorship, another example is that in Colombia many people fled because of all the crime, drug trafficking and guerrillas that the country had which caused people to migrate to other countries.

now I want to talk about my experience I am Ecuadorian and I used to live in the capital but for work reasons we had to move to China because my military father had a high position and they decided to give him a job there in China so we had to move, I still miss my home, but I cannot stay stagnant and depressed because my family came here to look for a better life so I have many things to do, in this place I have to learn their language, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their language, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their language, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their language, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their culture, learn their culture.

thank you very much for reading my blog, I hope you liked it, I hope you learned a lot and I hope you enjoy it.

 The adventure of a family

We actually know the society has advanced progress in all the time and it’s important to know that people always want to be more efficient also have a better standard of living that’s the reason, we have the people in the rural area change their style of life to an urbanization area. The majority of cases go to an urbanization area so poor like slum or shantytown that not have the perspective that they have at the beginning. I will explain a real case of a person that has to change their way her living to move urbanization for better basic services.

A real case of a family that wants the best opportunities for her sons and was the principal motivation to move to the urbanization also living in rural areas is so complicated in many aspects because they’re not recognizing that they have to be, meanwhile the family sell all the proprieties that they have, therefore, they are preparing for a new journey that in their mind is only going to live with the best opportunities that urbanization offers them but what they don't know about everything they will have to face when arriving at the place.

When the family arrived at the planned place, they didn't meet the expectations they had of what urbanization is like but what they come up with with a great idea because everyone had told them that going to that place brought opportunities so when they see the place where most of the people usually arrive, they are places that could be said to be dangerous and unsafe and the houses are not quite beautiful since they simply left everything for that opportunity that you have to work hard and maybe you don't have the same services in the same way.

Although the family searches for another way to live for that moment they can't do that and for that reason. They have to wait a large time to obtain an official job with all the benefits that have to receive but in the time that the family pass of neighborhood insecurity they have to try don't do anything wrong and also try to protect themselves from not having an accident however they explain that is a big difference change their style of life at the beginning was not easy, found a lot of problems, inconvenience, obstacles only because they aren't developed in that way of life and must to get used to living like that.

To sum up, it's very difficult to change another style like the rural area to urbanization area has a big gap because the part of the rural area they don't have the same opportunities that urbanization also doesn't have the facilities of the basic services that are so important and in urbanization have better chances to progress yourself, urbanization gives you a chance to live your dreams the bad things of things amazing idea is the majority of people pf rural area goes to urbanization but them arrive at a slum neighborhood that they don't wait for that.

CHANGE

Quito - 18 of November 2021

By: Camila Andrade

I´m from a small town on the outskirts of Loja, this place is called Taquil, it is very nice and quiet apart from the people are very quality and field work is the daily bread for all farmers but we know that the love we devote to our daily work living with agricultural production is not much compared to the companies that come looking to produce the raw material for their products.

My parents are textile engineers, my mother studied psychology and textile engineering and my father is a textile engineer with a master's degree in hospital textiles. My mom is from my hometown Taquil and Medellin and my dad is from a part of the Guayas that I do not remember well but they always decided that they wanted to study and get ahead which was the cause of us moving to the big city but not as my brothers and I believed.

I honestly did not know how to feel when I heard this news and I really thought that I was going to stay in Loja with my family and friends with whom I have shared all my life and apparently that was going to change soon because we were going to the capital which is Quito because there were good job opportunities, security and we were going to have all the possible comforts. In truth it sounded good but I was missing this year to finish my school, to be for the last time with my friends, my grandparents who saw me grow up and raised me and how to forget the good grind with coffee every day besides that I was going to miss my grandmother's arepas (she is Colombian).

The process of moving was a little complicated emotionally because sometimes they wanted to back out of their decision, my brothers were happy because they hated being in the village and emotionally I felt terrible and I was afraid to take this big step but what motivated me was that I could have better opportunities for study, life, security, etc. We had some problems with the clothes, machines and washing machine because they did not arrive at the new house until after 4 days and for 1 month we were fed with fast food and it was not good.

Currently I live north of Quito by the Carolina park and I like it a lot, people are a little colder and less friendly but the food is super delicious, 3 months ago I started my school year in a new school and the people are super cool I really like this place and my family is stable and we help each other as much as we can. we want to return to visit my village in a few months to see how everything is going.

My parents are doing great in their own business and they are working out.

It is not so bad to make changes in your life and losing fear is what makes us strong.

Kristel Chuquirima

 A somewhat difficult reality

Friday November 19,2021

Hello, my name is Kristel Chuquirima and today I want to tell you a little about my experience when traveling to another country out of necessity, how is this possible? they will wonder, because I have not been living with what I need, I am living with the fair, since in my country there were no longer jobs, so it is difficult to survive with almost no money, but what is possible is done, so making the decision to migrate, (traveling to another country) may sound funny but it is not, it is starting from scratch, many times we end up being discriminated against for the fact of being migrants, although it is hard, little by little we go overcoming, we already have a little more income, but just as I let you know about my experience, I also want to help you with a little information that you should know.

It was not easy as it seems, I really suffered a lot when I was away from my family, I did not know when I was going to return, and I can say that so far I do not know if I return.

This can be a bit sad, complicated and you see it something worrisome because we are not really going with a certain one, we are not going with something safe, we go to whatever it takes, if we have the opportunity to have a good job we have to take advantage of it and not let it pass , but if we do not have that opportunity, we have to accept what comes, but rest assured that everything will work out.

Advantages of migrating:

  • You have new experiences.
  • Get to know new cultures.
  • Your income will be better.
  • You reduce the financial problems that you may have.
  • You learn by doing.
Disadvantages of migrating
  • You get to have a lot of culture clashes.
  • Discrimination often exists.
  • Many times we do not know the language.
  • There is a risk that they will deport us to our country.

As you could see, not everything is bad, but at the same time not everything is good, this migration is something difficult, something that if you really don't need it, don't do it, because not everything is good and many times we suffer from the discrimination that It exists, so from my experience it is not something that I recommend, unless you really need it, because remember that by fighting we will achieve what we want.

My experience with Migration

Migration is a situation that has been lived for years and in my case, I had to live it too. My name is Damaris and I know people have different reasons to migrate, for example, my family living in a rural area had very little access to basic services but not only this was the reason to take this decision, the work also is not the best, is really difficult get a job in the rural areas and the lower wages and as farmers did not benefit us so my parents decided to migrate to the city. We all know that migration is not only difficult for the person who is going to experience a completely different environment than what they are used to but that the whole family that remains is also affected by this. My grandparents when we migrated to the city for better opportunities they had to go through many difficulties.

First I would like to tell you about my experience migrating to the city and the disadvantages it has. What affected me the most was the pollution when I arrived, everything is full of factories and you don't see a place with trees to run and like in the countryside where you breathe the pure air. Being just a child it was easy to get used to me but for my parents not and they even got sick. Another disadvantage is the crime and, being a low-income family, we had to live in quite dangerous areas, it was so difficult not to be able to leave because of the danger that existed around me.

Of course, there are many advantages such as more job opportunities with better salaries that helped us to have meals every day. How close the hospitals and schools are is amazing and I think that is incredible advantages have every basic service in the easiest way. My grandfather told me that after we moved to the city they were very concerned with all the bad ideas they had of the city and the truth was he was right it is quite difficult to live in the city. He told me that no one could take care of the small farm we had in the field and that they could no longer take care of themselves I missed them every year and when my parents were not busy I would visit them at Christmas.

With my experience, I could learn a little more about this change and who it affects. Migrating to a big city is not how they are shown in the movies, it is very difficult to adapt to separating from your family and having a completely different life with many disadvantages that you had not been told about. The idea of writing this blog comes to me when I talked with my family about How difficult is to migrate to another place with a differents traditions and lifestyle

Living in an Urban place, is it good or bad?

What would happen if one day your parents or anyone in your family decided to move to the city, you decide to stay in your rural place where you are already used to it, or you decide to start a new life in an urban place. The answer for me now that I am 18 years old would be difficult, but in my case it was different, sadly I could not make a decision, and I have lived in the city since I was 7 years old. One day like any other I was talking to my grandfather, and he told me that the city is not everything, because it has its advantages and disadvantages. So I ask you to read this blog carefully so that if one day you decide to migrate to the city, you make the best decision.

Hello my name is Naomi, I am from Stock Bridge, but now I live in Boston, and today I am going to tell you about my experience living in the city, it is very important to clarify that the city is full of opportunities, but personally I feel more free in rural areas, so dear reader get ready because today in this text you will be able to make a decision if you want to migrate to an urban area.

First of all, when I moved to the city with my family, my life took a 360 degree turn, because it was very different from my town, I had to learn to get used to it, since I missed the sunrises or the starry nights of Stockbridge, the The accent was also different, like the food, in short I wanted to go back to my hometown. But not everything was bad because at school I met people who taught me to live in the city, I learned that I had a better education, my parents found many job opportunities, my grandfather taught me the value that people had and that despite the fact that the city has few green spaces, I learned to see the positive side of things, basically life in the city is easier.

But not everything is gold, because in the city the climate causes the flu to arrive quickly, the sky at night often does not have stars because of the smog, although an advantage is the medical services and the education services that are needed in the countryside. The best part is that here in the city you can create opportunities, but the downside is that the population continues to increase and therefore global warming as well.

So in conclusion, if you decide to migrate to the city you should think about the factors, but with experience I can tell you that living in urban areas are great opportunities because your life becomes a little easier thanks to the goods and services. It is not so difficult to get used to it as long as there is respect among the citizens and a harmonious place is created.

My history in a city (Nestor Cordovilla)

My history in a city

Quito, 20 November of 2021

Welcome everyone today, I am going to tell you about migration in rural areas, my experience as I migrate to the city, its advantages and disadvantages due to the environment that one leaves.

My experience within living in a rural area, one is the environment and the tranquility, since as it was a remote town, things were much easier in itself since I knew everything, that is to say that life within a town is moderately easy, since your activities are more specific, and you fulfill them in the best way.

I migrated due to a very complicated situation and this is what happens to the majority who migrate, the state does not support the agricultural sector, the orchards and irrigation water are very affected, this is my case but I have had that several friends have managed to work. in the city where it is better paid economically and they leave their town, leaving their crops to die, causing lands to die for lack of human hand.

When I arrive in the city, as a migrant, everything is different since it is a different environment, much more chaotic, and because at night it makes a lot of noise, this is my experience within the city, a change, which to this day I do not I'm used to it and most migrants don't either, we have to our costumbs, and the celebrations that exists in my estate, in the city, people are colder so relationships are more complicated, therefore my social circle is the same people with whom I migrated several years ago, It makes me happy to know that the migrants I travel with are still here in the city, some dedicated themselves to study, others to work, but we continue to maintain the connection despite being far from home.

In conclusion, I can say that migrating has a good side, since you migrate to improve your quality of life, that is, I leave this to everyone, migrating does not harm anyone, you support the cause and it will be better for you, the Negative is that you leave your family, your house and start to become a more responsible person since if you leave your house it is to progress, with this I conclude with my blog.

See you and greetings.
